The Committee on Finance moved to amend the bill on pages three and four, section twenty-seven-b, lines three through five, by striking out the words “felony and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine not to exceed $5,000, by imprisoned in a state correctional facility not more than five years, or by both fine and imprisoned” and inserting in lieu thereof the words “misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be fined not more than $1,000 or confined in jail not more than one year, or both fined and confined”
